Creamed Pasta

Ingredients:

2 cups pasta
1/2 cup boiled peas
2 cups boiled spinach
1/4 cup boiled corn
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp plain flour
1-1/2 cup milk
Salt as per taste
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp pepper powder
1 cup salmon pieces
1/2 cup grated cheese

Method :

In a large pot bring 4 cups water to boil.Put the pasta and let it cook till tender (approx 15 mins.Drain and keep aside.Drain the spinach and grind it (the consistency should be like paste)In a pan heat butter.Put flour and cook for a minute.Pour in milk, stirring continuously.When it boils, add rest of ingredients except pasta.Cook for 2-3 mins.Pour the hot mixture over pasta.Mix pasta and creamy mixture and serve hot

Making Time: 30 Mins.



 

Spinach Pasta

1/2 lb spaghetti,
Spinach - 1 bunch,
Potatoes - 2 medium,
Carrots - 2 nos,
Brocolli - 8-10 florets,
Cauliflower - 8-10 florets,
Yellow Sqaush - 1/4 cup cubed (optional),
Spaghetti Sauce - 1/2 cup (Either Prego or Ragu),
Onions - 2 medium (Chopped length-wise),
Salt to taste,
Ground Pepper - 1/2 tsp,
Dry crushed oregano leaves or parsley - 1 tsp,
Cooking oil - 2 tblsp,
Butter - 2 tsp,
Garam Masala powder - 1tsp

Roasted vegetable pasta

Ingredients :
Pasta
Hot water
Vegetables you've got lying around, such as
Shalots
Onions
Mushrooms
Tomatoes
Red & Yellow Peppers

Some form of tomato sauce, either proper Dolmio type stuff or just use a little tinned tomato stuff (much cheaper)
Vegetable Oil
