Potato Salad

Ingredients :
4-5 potatoes, boiled and peeled
2 hard boiled eggs, peeled
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup chopped red onions
1/4 cup chopped celery
1 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
Salt as per taste


Method :

Chop the potatoes (approx 1" pieces)Coarsely chop eggsIn a bowl mix mayonnaise, onion, celery, vinegar, salt and sesame seedsAdd chopped potatoes and eggsToss it well

  • Chill for 1 hour and then serve

    Jelly Salad

    Ingredients :
    1 packet jelly (your choice)
    1 cup cabbage shredded
    1 cup carrot chopped
    1 sprig spring onion chopped fine
    1 tomato
    1 capsicum small chopped
    1 apple firm
    2 pineapple slices
    1/2 tbsp. coriander chopped fine
    salt to taste
    pepper fresh ground
    1/2 tsp. ground sugar
    1 tsp. white vinegar


    Method :
    Set jelly as per instructions on packet.
    Meanwhile place any empty salad bowl in the fridge to chill.
    When jelly is well-set cut into tiny cubes.

    Mango salad

    Ingredients :
    lettice
    small mango
    vineger.
    add oniond if you like
    a little salt

    Method :
    wash and cut up lettice ,peel mango chop up in chunks stick all in a bowl add vinegar and salt to taste , try it to belive how good it is.

    Coleslaw

    Ingredients :
    2 packages pregrated coleslaw mix
    4 green scallion
    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    1/2 cup sugar
    1 tspn celery seed salad dressing
    3/4 cup mayonnaise

    Method :
    Combine slaw mix, scallion, sugar and celery seed. Add mayonnaise, starting with 1/2 cup until desired creamy consistency.

    Mustardy cheese salad with french dressing

    Ingredients :
    salad(peppery one works best like rocket)
    tomatoes
    cucumber
    red pepper (optional)
    a lorra lorra cheese.
    english mustard
    vinegar (balsamic if you got it)
    olive oil
    garlic (optional)

    Method :
    toss the salad with diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and sliced red pepper.

    For the dressing:
    tsp olive oil
    tsp vinegar
    tsp mustard
    crushed clove of garlic (optional)
    salt & pepper
    mix together in a cup.

    drizzle over salad
    and top with finely grated cheese!

    Fruit salad

    Ingredients :
    orange (2)
    apple (2)
    banana (2)
    mango (2)
    orange juice (or any juice you want but must be fresh)
    (any other fruit you want)

    Method :
    first cut all the fruit into slices and put into a big bowl, next add the juice that you chose, the give it a good mix and leave for 2 mins snd enjoy!!!

    ( SERVES 2 PEOPLE)
